Hello and welcome to the Skidmore-Tynan Elementary School Counselor page. My name is Christine Gonzalez and I am honored to be the school counselor for Skidmore-Tynan Elementary.

Elementary school years set the tone for developing the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for children to become healthy, competent and confident learners. I work as a team member with school administration and staff to create a caring and supportive school environment. As the school counselor, I help students with their academic, social and emotional needs. Promoting student’s academic and personal development during these elementary years serves as the foundation for their future success.
